A Mindfulness Verse

Welcome back. I'm glad you are choosing to spend a moment of your time with us at The Noticing Stone. Today we bring you something a bit different: a mindful lyric.
In quiet moments, still and clear,
A simple stone, so small, so near,
I hold it gently in my palm,
A token of peace, a soothing balm.
This humble rock, with textures worn,
Carries whispers of the dawn,
Each line and groove, a story told,
Of ancient earth, both wise and bold.
I close my eyes, I take a breath,
In this stillness, I find no death,
But life unfolding, here and now,
With every heartbeat, I make a vow.
I feel the weight, the cool, the smooth,
Each moment’s pulse, I begin to soothe,
The chatter fades, the world grows dim,
In this small stone, I lose my whim.
A leaf that dances, a breeze that sighs,
The laughter of children, the endless skies,
With every touch, I start to see,
The beauty in what simply can be.
So here I sit, with stone in hand,
In mindful silence, I take my stand,
For in this moment, I truly find,
The magic of peace that lives in the mind.
When I rise up, the stone I keep,
A reminder of stillness, a promise deep,
To notice the wonders, both big and small,
With my Noticing Stone, I embrace it all.
We hope you enjoyed today's post, and it's reminder to Pause, Notice, and Return to a moment of calmness.
Untill next time.
Remember, Mindfulness is in The Palm of Your Hand.
